UMI Sushi: Dining, Take-out, & More During the Pandemic

Our latest October updates regarding COVID-19 regulations for restaurants, procedures at UMI Sushi, and our new additions to the restaurant!

We've just renovated our website, making ordering online and catching up with our updates easier than ever! Read below for our rules regarding dining, take-out, and more.

Dining

In case you have not heard, our restaurant has opened an outdoor patio that is surrounded by the beauty of nature, including a glimpse of the Tiber stream. We will have live music on Wednesdays 6pm-9pm, Friday-Saturdays 5pm-9:30pm, and Sundays, from 6pm-9pm.

All tables are 6 feet apart with limited seating. PLEASE CALL TO MAKE A RESERVATION.

Maryland state has a few regulations for dining in, which are:

- Maximum capacity per table is 6 people. If your party exceeds 6, you must sit at separate tables.

- Everyone MUST wear masks, even in our alleyway. You may only take them off when you are seated.

Many of our customers have asked if we have INDOOR dining. We had recently announced on our social media that we will no longer be offering indoor dining, unless customers have a physical disability or are bringing a disabled person.

It does get busy on weekend nights though, so if our patio has reached max capacity, we will allow indoor seating. Still, our maximum capacity for indoor seating is 25%.

Carryout

We also have carryout options! Feel free to place a takeout order either by calling us, or clicking our Online Ordering link on our website.

For curbside carryout, please park on our side of the restaurant and call us to let us know that you're here to pickup. Pickup wait times for lunch would be around 20-25 minutes, and dinner would be 30-35 minutes. We will only send confirmation times if your order's wait time will exceed 40 minutes.

We currently have not partnered with any delivery service, although you are still able to order our food on UberEats and PostMates because our amazing customers have put our menu on there. Still, if there is an issue with a delivery order, please remember that we are not partnered with any, and any issues regarding delivery is not at our fault.

Menu Upgrade

Although we have just changed our menu in June, we decided to further upgrade our menu this month. Please view our online menu since we did make some changes! If you have ordered takeout, we always make sure to put our latest menu in there, but our online menu is still the MOST ACCURATE version. Feel free to call or email us for any questions!
